Hello folks,
I'm an artist who is fascinated with blurring the boundaries between organic and digital sound.
I'm working on a track for my second album which will attempt to combine organic voice recordings (especially overtone/undertone harmonic singing), vocoders, speech synthesis, and beatboxing. This tribe sounds like a great resource for ideas for this track and my other music.
Feel free to check out my stuff:

Look forward to learning and sharing in this tribe.

Sun, November 26, 2006 - 7:17 AMHi Drew, and welcome.
Your project sounds fascinating.
You might also find the CD I released a couple of years back to be interesting as well.
I combined various extended vocal techniques (including a few that I've tried to innovate) with
other compositions for text to voice editors and other experiments.
It's called 'FauxVoix' and there are mp3s of it up at my webpage at
www.looppool.info
thanks for joining and shouting out.
yours, Rick

Re: Intro
Mon, November 27, 2006 - 1:06 PMJust for fun, here's a track I did awhile ago when I first discovered Spectral Voices.
It's just my voice multitracked and pitchshifted in octaves with LOTS of reverb (to simulate the empty water tower.) Overtone and undertone techniques were used here, for deep bassy subfundamentals and ringing harmonics.
Enjoy folks...

Wed, November 29, 2006 - 12:58 AMHey Drew, this URL doesn't seem to want to work on my Mac laptop.
I'll go try it on my PC desktop but you might want to double check and make sure it is accurate. -

Sun, December 10, 2006 - 3:36 PMHey Drew,
there are several tracks at your rare and unreleased section.
Which ones are the vocal tracks.
Pardon my asking but I'm incredibly busy right now and I don't have time
to listen to everything but I"m dying to hear your beautiful vocal tracks. -
